Painting and printmaking were not the only forms of art that Silpaguru Safiuddin Ahmed was passionate
about. He had an immense passion for photography too. It can easily be dubbed as one of his most
favorite hobbies. For him, it was not just about taking the photos but rather about the experience of the
whole process. Hence, he himself developed and printed all his works as well. Many of the photographs
he took during the flood of 1954 and 1955 in Dhaka are on display at Shilpaguru Safiuddin Ahmed
Memorial for everyone to view.
